Look around at stores for a product called simply "CD Scratch Remover". If
applied properly per directions, it removes or clears up some of the worst
scratches. Had a DVD that would skip about 20 minutes at a particular spot.
This stuff cleared it up enough that it only stuttered. Returned the DVD,
but it shows that it does help a lot. I also know that Pledge works on
smaller scratches.
