I am running 10.1.5 on an Yosemite WGS G3/400 with 640 mb ram, and it runs pretty well. Stock ATI Rage 128 card,m and a single 20 GB IDE drive, I removed the two original 9 GB SCSI w2 drives because they were so loud and hot. It might be a tad slower, but not much. Photo processing for newsletters? That should be relatively mundane resizing or reformatting, possibly a little filtering, no? In that case I would definitely use Graphic Converter, and not Photoshop. Smaller faster cheaper.
