Dear Colleagues,

I keep reading about all these hardware incompatibilities involved with
various Macs on this list and it depresses me. I'd rather hear about all the
advantages of using Macs and how they can make photo work faster and handle
images with more flexibility.

I also hoped the list would be a source of constructive criticism for Apple
to make Macs even better than they are.

People here are always talking about souping up Macs with all kinds of third
party hardware and software. How about discussing what a straight factory Mac
can do for us, whatever the model.

Frankly, I'd like to know more about how the Cube performs. What are the
strengths of the Yosemite Blue-White Macs. How we can adapt older Apple
printers to new models. Really useful information that we can always refer
to.

How about a true analysis of system X-Jaguar by our best minds. What it can
do for us in actual productive terms. If someone has an illustration that
makes a point, attach it.

Let's talk about really first rate software for the Mac. Is the latest
version of Word for the Mac something special as compared to the PC's
counterpart.

In what direction do we want Apple to go in the years to come. Should it
favor the consumer and educational buyers over the corporate market. Should
even the unitary eMac feature a stationary flat panel monitor.

I only mentioned the most obvious subjects we could discuss here to make the
list vibrant and creative.

Best,
Bob
