They won't support third-party software. They have every right not to 
and I wouldn't if I were in their shoes. Look at what 3rd Party 
hardware has done to windows. It is a pain in the rear getting the 
right thing to load your display, getting the keyboard features to 
work, the right modem drivers, etc. They don't even support all 3rd 
party hardware.
