I've got a Sun 18.1" LCD, which is actually a rebadged Samsung Syncmaster
800TFT, on my G4 Cube.

I'm just using the analog VGA output (this LCD only has HD15-VGA and
13W3-Sun inputs), so the picture's not as perfect as it could be if it
was all-digital, but I'm very happy with it once I got the colorsync
profile setup to my tastes.

Basically, when creating a colorsync profile for an LCD (at least this
one), *ignore* the instructions about cranking up the contrast and then
working on brightness - those are for CRT monitors.. Doing so on an
LCD just ended up with really washed-out images; I just had to tweak
it until it just "looked right".

(an example, my Brightness is at 60, contrast at 20; this is "visually
identical" to my Sun/Sony 21" Trinitron CRT with contrast at 100 and
brightness at 15..)
