Oh how true... :).

Actually Windows NT has been running on RISC systems (admittedly
the 64-bit not 128-bit new strain) for over 8 years (well I first
saw it running on an IBM PPC in 1994).

The fact is, however, that Mac OS X, being primarily UNIX, is
designed to be easily portable and could conceivably be written as
a dual system, equivalent to FAT on 68k/PPC, that will run on
either platform whilst allowing the PPC programs to be run via
emulation.

Windows on the other hand is not compatible from RISC to x86 in any
way, other than the fact it look similar. MS have hacked, botched
and philandered with Windows to the extent that porting is going to
be a nightmare and they will have to rely heavily on the fact intel
will build x86 emulation into the chips. They may also force
intel's hand, I mean the only reason intel still even make Pentium
CPUs is because so many people use x86 based machines.

Bill Gates always did like the Mac. After all you would hardly
steal a whole operating system concept that sucked would you?
