By software developers I did not mean Apple, I meant software developers.

Mac OS9 18 years old? Damn I sure don�t remember seeing it available when I
went and bought my IIc about that time.

And actually I cant complain about anything older than 8.5, that was the
first MacOS I was exposed to other than using an old SE years and years ago.
