I agree. I used to be a die hard Mac gamer. But it's way too expensive. 
You need lots of money in order to keep your hardware up to date. It's 
much cheaper on on the PC side. I purchase an X-Box and built myself  a 
1.5Ghz AMD PC. I play all my games and do most of my web surfing on the 
PC. For everything else I do it on my Dual 867Mhz G4. Hands down doing 
Audio work and PhotoShop on a Mac is a must.
