well, generally they are supposed to auto terminate one end if it's not connected, but
of course that's not always perfect. there are terminators that plug into the
standard 50 pin ribbon cable, and possibly some that will plug directly into the card.
i believe some of them also have a jumper to force internal termination.

worst case, you could always use a cable meant for an external drive, plug the skinny
connector into the card, and plug a regular external terminator into one of the big
connectors, ideally cutting off the other one to reduce reflections but it probably
wouldn't be a problem any way. this was also an issue on some of the earlier macs
which would run faster if you terminated the built in scsi because otherwise it could
pick up noise and produce interrupts when there wasn't any actual data that needed to
move.

i've got some of the internal terminators, i'll try and check with my source to see if
he has more, they are active terminators which is really nice, they even work in a
IIfx in place of the "special" terminator they normally need (but rarely still have).

you might check the usual hardware sources, or digikey.com which carries some
terminators as well, but best bet would be a place that sells hardware for servers and
other high end systems. a google search for "internal scsi terminator" might also be
useful. i simply love google for locating odd items!
