I have the later 100MHz Rage 128 GL, as I have a Rev. 2 G3/400 and it's 
got a heatsink on the card as it suggests at www.xlr8yourmac.com. The 
latest version of the OS X (NOT OS 9!!) DVD player states support for 
software playback of DVDs on Rage 128 cards. AFAIK there is no similar 
support for OS 9.
