The machine setup: Beige G3/desktop, G4/400, 768 MB Ram ATI Radeon 7000
PCI video card. 17" Flat panel on ATI card, 15" flat panel on built in
video.
I edited the appropriate plist file to enable Quartz support for my PCI
based G3.
When the machine boots, it goes along until the blue desktop shows (no
finder showing) and then flickers, the mouse cursor goes to one monitor
then disappears. Then it flickers again, and the cursor goes out, The
screen flickers again, etc etc....
I was under the understanding that with X and the ATI card, Quartz
would work.
Is there something I missed here?
Thanks,
John
