Yes and no. You can enable Quartz Extreme but the slower PCI bus [and the really slow PCI bus on the Beige G3] can't give it the necessary bandwidth, on Yikes G4s and Yosemites it manifests itself in slower overall system performance. I don't know what happens on Beige G3s.
