I thought it was 6MB max. To answer Clae's original question I have an iBook with a 4MB Rage Pro chipset (Rage Mobility) and it is ok at 800x600 but it doesn't exactly leap out and slap you in the face. Maybe it's just 'cause it's an LCD ;) I think there is a problem that has cropped up here that the Radeon 7000 doesn't seem to shift many pixels unless it's on the B&W G3/Yikes! G4 66Mhz PCI Slot. I have seen a lot of people with old world PCI PowerMacs (both G3s and earlier machines) saying the Radeon is not a good performer. If you want a graphical boost over the Rage Pro in the Beige G3 buy an ATi Rage Orion or Nexus (is that right), both are Rage 128 based and have 16MB or 32MB respectively. There are a lot of Rage 128s for the Mac going around on LEM Swap and eBay at the moment from people like me who have upgraded to a PCI Radeon.
