my new eMac, 1gig RAM, seems to take forever to print a page on out Lexmark Optra
S1650, print window sits there, stopping me working on any program, occasionally a
very quick flash message appears about downloading something or other. The Lexmark lcd
display flashes between Power Saver and Busy PS2.

Is there a setting I can make or any other change to speed up my printing?

The printer has 3 sets of ports on the back, Serial, Option 1 (ethernet) and Option 2
which has, among other things a SCSI like port. Can I put a scsi disc on that port for
holding fonts?

Tom
