Has anyone tried to capture "live" streaming audio by running a line from audio out to audio in ?
Are there any pit falls to be aware of ? I'm thinking of running a line from the MAC audio out to my external speaker amp and then a line from the speaker port on the amp to the audio in - or mic port - on the MAC. - because I think I will then - also - be able to hear what I am trying to record. Does this make any sense - to those who know more than I ? I just don't want to blow my internal speaker system on the MAC as I cannot afford expensive repairs. I want to record talk radio - not music - so I am not particularly worried about all the "finer" points that might be involved with music audio. I have an AV card installed. Is that analog or digital ? System is a G3 / 266 / rev A Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, A. ;-) -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
