My G4-400 is ill I think. On startup I get a Mac face (reminds me of the sad Mac on older computers, but updated) and the machine is prone to far more crashes, bombs, and lockups than in the past. Is there a website somewhere that would decipher my Mac's startup code? Lacking that, anyone here know what this means:
/pci@f2000000/@d/mac-io@7/ata-4@1f000/disk@0:9\\:tbxi That was the message beneath my happy Mac; I have a feeling it's not too happy though. If anyone else has ever seen one of these messages and wanted to write it down, the Apple/Shift/3 doesn't appear to work, at least not with this one. What did work is pressing the programmer's switch (The one to the right of the reset button on a G4 tower). I hope no one ever needs to know that.
