Kathi11/29/02 1:14 PM Depends. Do you have anything else hooked up to the Ethernet connection? I have two ethernet connections, one on an PCI card and one that is original built-in equipment. Doesn't matter which one is used on what. One is for my cable modem and the other is for file sharing via a hub. Just have to switch in Apple talk. Can't use both at the same time, but it sure is easier than plugging and un-plugging. I could move things with shared cable access via a router, but an extra PCI connection is a lot cheaper and much more simple to set up to move files from one computer to the other. Equipment: 233G3, 266G3, Quad, and PC. No OSX yet.
