Kathi11/30/02 4:57 AM You are absolutely right. The G3 I bought came with a card added for an ethernet port because the built in one had a connector broken off in it. Got cable modem and tried to connect my other G3 through a Linksys router but gave up because I didn't have the time or expertise and all the stuff I read on list about Linksys Mac support was not very encouraging. I worked with the broken off connector one day when I had time and got the broken connector out. So naturally I checked out to see if worked OK and it did. So instead of figuring out my router set up, I just use the two ethernet connections. Probably sounds pretty dumb to someone that knows how to set up the router. But I don't have that much time to work on my stuff and the time I do have, I use it on art work and graphics on the computer. Guess I'm an expert on work-arounds.
