If you open it up during your troubleshooting, you might want to carefully
check the ribbon cables. I once had a 7300 freezing constantly, and it
turned out to be a newly installed ATA ribbon cable from a PCI controller
card to a hard drive. The cable was folded so tightly it had creased and
broken a wire.
