Hi Leon, Those numbers are accurate. Using my sources, some graphics firms are using Classic with upgraded G3s or maybe a G4. The Apple business strategy of promoting the 'digital hub' lifestyle assumes (among many other things) that the graphics crowd was placated with the release of PhotoShopX. Graphics is way too competitive to 'play' with the new and much too expensive HW and SW. Sound editing - you'll have to ask the experts - looks good on the newer machines. But I did see an 'ancient' 9600 with an audio (pro) card at an auction last spring of a CD factory. Niche markets - not your bread and butter, eh? Those figures you quote - what about the zillions of 'entry-level' iMacs sold since (?)1998 or '99 ?
