<< I read in an article that Apple predicts that 20% of its user base has X installed on their Macs >>
Really? I would find that surprising, I mean I use 9.2.2 sometimes, I use Classic a lot, but I also own and run 10.1.5, I'd have guessed that at least 80% of the dual processor Macintosh owners would have a copy of OS X laying around in their house or installed on their Macs, I mean after all, OS X takes advantage of the dual chips, isn't that incentive enough? It sure was for me. I knew it would take a while for people to jump from 9 to X, but I thought surely more than 20% of us Macsters would have supported Apple in its release of X. I still love 9, I miss a lot of the features, but OS X has its merits as well, and the pros and cons add up to OS X being a positive upgrade. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
