Hello

If I may add another thought here.

How about heat dissipation considerations as a limiting factor ?

On my B&W, V1 heat sink, the stock 350 ZIF CPU temperature ran around
32C with 22C ambient( see BTW 2, below)

When I upgraded to the G4 500 ZIF , and even changed to the larger V2
heatsink, the CPU ran around 43C.

With a 1 GHz ZIF, Who knows what the CPU temp. would increase too -
!!!!!(?).

Maybe the internal B&W fan , as now designed, would not remove enough
heat from the box , resulting in degrading if not destroying the ZIF (?)

BTW 1. I mounted a small axial fan on top of my heatsink, in the
sucking air out direction (up) , and the ZIF now runs around 38C

BTW2. Measuring temperature using a Radio Shack Temperature Assembly
with its temperature probe contacting the center, flat part of the heat
sink.
