As far as I remember in the first message, he had already done that with no 
results.  Maybe can do it once or twice more times, or resetting CUDA to 
remove if there's any trace of Jaguar on ROM.  I've sat down and fiddled 
around with Jaguar in Temple university's macs (where my sister goes) and  in 
the Apple Store, I've got to say it looks great in a new Mac but very scary 
to even think about installing it in my beige.  My suggestion is if you want 
to save you PC friend some headaches don't install Jaguar yet unless you've 
made up your mind it will be the only OS (and install it from scratch), I've 
seen horror stories in the list from people who have upgraded their existing 
9.X system to Jaguar.

Can someone verify this, or tell me any good stories?
