Possibly not. Lots of people (myself included) have had problems with 3rd Party USB cards, despite them showing up in system profiler, and even the devices connected to them showing up.
Problems include: - Just not functioning (esp. in OS9) - Not working correctly (there was a massive thread about this a couple of weeks back) However, the same cards then can work in other machines.
