Thanks for reminding me I'll look into some of the old messages, while there are millions of manufacturers for Windows stuff and only hundreds for Mac, I take it was maybe some other branded card. But will verify with the specifications and look into the thread. This particular card says: Features Complies OpenHCI specifications rev. 1.0 Fully complaint to USB specifications rev 1.1 Fully compliant to PCI local bus specifications ver 2.2 Supports USB device bandwidth of up to 12Mb/sec per port Compatible with other leading platforms, including PowerPC, Alpha, MIPS, and virtually all Unix RISC-based computing platforms Provides 2 or 4 (depend on chipset) type 'A' downstream ports for USB device connections Full Support of real time dynamic insertion and removal of devices Supports all USB compliant peripherals (e.g. keyboard, mouse, monitor, telefone, joystick, etc.) Supports legacy keyboards and mouse devices Full software support by Microsoft OHCI-based USB drivers Can the line about "supports PowerPC" be taken into consideration, it did not say anything about Mac compatible still this processor isn't PowerPC based is it? I thought beige G3s were made with another structure (perhaps I should try it on my 8500)? Thanks again! Liliana -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
