You cannot boot off a firewire drive on a B&W G3. Sorry. That feature wasn't available till the iMac DV's came out.

Can this upgrading of the B&W firmware be done?

Is there an upgrade?

Has anyone out there accomplished this firmware upgrade ( if there is one) ?

Or is that that way the cookie crumbles !
