I got my 10 gig iPod for Chanukah and I'm very pleased with it. I can
carry my calendar around with me (very important as I'm the Miami-Dade
float for an Allergy & Asthma Practice and can never seem to remember
where I'm supposed to be from one day to the next) as well as all of my
contacts from my address book (I can also store them in my phone but
you can't put all that information in the phone....like address,
birthday, etc.). Plus, the only classical radio station recently
changed it's format to 'chicky-chicky-boom-boom' music and I have
nothing to listen to and no CD player in my truck. I've already
transferred about half of my CD's to my iPod and still have about 6.5
gig free. It can also function as a firewire drive....I loaded 10.1 on
it and can boot from it on any G4 with firewire.
Yes, the iPod is quite 'neat' and well worth the $399 that was paid for
it.
.....my personal rant of the day.
