Interesting interesting hehe.. I gotta throw a vote in for the Quicksilver line myself.. I have the 2002 800Mhz model, a friend has a Sawtooth 450 AGP (think its pre Gigabit Ethernet), and I went through the whole remainder of the Graphite G4 line at my last job.. Gotta say I love the Quicksilver.. An extra PCI slot, faster AGP, faster bus speed, and of course the processors.. I think this may be the last of Apples really quality models for awhile.. There's just something about the new duals that makes me shudder and wants to stay away from em for awhile until theyve gotten a little more on the ball with things.. I think Apple is rushing things out a little too quickly nowadays.
Coming in at a damn close second are the PowerBooks.. Bought a brand new 800 a few months back.. Just bought a new 1Ghz last month.. They are thee most kick ass portable computers I have ever seen.. Not to mention just all around. Seeing as how it blows away my desktop model, the 800 is in fear of it being replaced in the studio by a laptop hehe.. > I can't imagine why you would feel that way. The dual processor G4 Sawtooth > Gigabit Ethernet is the best computer Apple ever made, period. -- Chris http://www.towelhead.net http://www.mp3.com/stemcellvirus http://www.mp3.com/towelhead -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
