I have no idea what the "best Mac ever" would be. I suppose it depends in part on what one uses or used it for.
I really like my Cube, though. It's petite, fast (for me), has a lovely OS/GUI (Jaguar) and is very close to silent, which to me is a quality almost beyond price. Once I get a printer working with it and figure out how to play downloaded mpeg and so forth, I'll be entirely satisfied.
