Opening the Drive Setup application will tell you without getting into the 
innards just yet, looking at the name of the drive (the IDs wont help much if 
you don't even know where your drive is located) it should say IDE or ATA 
(for IDE drives), or SCSI for SCSI drives (Mostly Bus 0 if it's on the 
motherboard, or Bus 1 if it's on the PCI card but then again, maybe not be 
your particular case).

If you're experienced you'll know just by looking at the cable, being the 
UltraWide SCSI  68 pin (about 1.75 inch long) then the IDE being about 2.5 
inches long and the SCSI with 50-pin being the longest at about 3 inches.  
Can't measure now but it should be something like that.
