Hi, The WD Apple ROM 1.6 Gig spins up fine, but does not mount in any OS (incl.10). HDT, Norton, etc. don't help. HDT once saw it, but could not format it and upon reboot, stopped seeing it (and it didn't mount in either case). Is there an 'industrial strength' formatter ? It's an IDE, of course. I've tried all the jumper settings, switched IDE buses (Beige G3 DT, Rev.A). I even booted using both internal and external SCSI HDDs. Is pressing the CUDA useful? I reset the PRAM a lot. OSX doesn't really like the Dimm Rom (that's been said before), but Disk Utility does see the unmounted drive and will try to erase (get kernel hang) or partition - no bar graph progress, so I reboot and then it doesn't see the drive at all.
