I have a Firewire 911 enclosure with (2) new 120gig maxtor drives. The other
day my mac crashed and on the restart one of the drives come up with the
error "drive is unrecognizable do you want to initialize". I click no. The
first 120 gig drive is still seen ok. I tried to read/repair the
unrecognizable drive with the apple drive repair utility and norton but
neither can see the drive so I can't do anything. I do have files on the
drive so I don't want to re-initialize it-unless its my only alternative.
Any ideas how to get this drive up? Thanks in advance.
