I just got a new iMac G4/800 and have it connected to my B&W G3 via ethernet hub. The iMac is connected to internet dial-up connection via internal modem. I was sharing the internet connection over my LAN, but something happened and now internet sharing will no longer work. I'm running OS 10.2.2 on the iMac and have tried both 10.2.2 and 9.2.2 on the B&W. I tried using another G3 in place of the B&W, running OS9.1, but that wasn't able to share internet connect either. The ethernet connection is still working, as I can share files fine. I suspect that the problem is due to installation of applications or drivers on the iMac, but I have no idea what. I did a lot of installs. I would like to avoid re-installing OSX. I would also like to avoid going to OSX 10.2.3 because I've heard that it breaks one of the apps I use the most.
Has anyone else had this sort of problem, and know how to fix it?
