No, it works fine in my G4 AGP with OS 10.1.5. IIRC, the 2906 driver/extension was part of the system install and there was also a recent X update I downloaded from the Adaptec site. Under 10.1.5 I have had an external Zip drive and an external CD-R (Waitec) connected at the same time: ZIP connected to the G4 and the CD-R to the Zip; no SCSI terminator on the CD-R.
