Albert,

You might try removing just the front part of the tray (should just be
clipped on, check it from the underside while tray is ejected) that mates
with the face of the CD-RW when closed. No Dremel needed. Mine comes right
off (have a LaCie/Matshita CD-RW as well in my B&W). Good luck.

Subject: Advice: B&W Bezel Plate hitting CD-RW Drawer
Message-id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hello All

I have seen some posts in the past on this "problem"

Just installed a LaCie internal IDE CD-RW into my B&W Yosemite

When I go to close the CD-RW drawer , the lower edge of the tray
catches the bottom of the (top ) bezel plate

Temporary fix : I have removed the spring from the top bezel plate.
Manually push it back after tray closes.

But would like a permanent fix

Can anyone tell me how and/or what I have to grind off to make it
work ?

thanks to all that reply

BTW: I do have a Dremel tool kit
