If they want the name of a firewall, ipfw is built into Darwin.  Not
sure what rules are used by default in OS X, though- you might want to
add some.

For the classic OS, turn off filesharing if you don't use it, don't
share a printer if it isn't necessary, and, well, just try and make
sure you're not running unnecessary services.  It's pretty secure,
because it doesn't do extra stuff-- is Open Transport considered a
firewall? ;) 

It gets boring looking through my server logs, going through all the
weird MS Windows attacks on my Linux boxes... Oddly enough, I'm not
running netbus, I don't have anything called cmd.exe anywhere my
webserver can reach, and no, netbios doesn't work on this machine...
