If they want the name of a firewall, ipfw is built into Darwin. Not sure what rules are used by default in OS X, though- you might want to add some. Here's a site I found with Google: http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2002/12/27/macosx_firewall.html For the classic OS, turn off filesharing if you don't use it, don't share a printer if it isn't necessary, and, well, just try and make sure you're not running unnecessary services. It's pretty secure, because it doesn't do extra stuff-- is Open Transport considered a firewall? ;) It gets boring looking through my server logs, going through all the weird MS Windows attacks on my Linux boxes...
