It shouldnt really matter anyway, the mac would not be affected by PC viruses, and if the files containing them were sent to PC users, their virus scanner would pick it up.
That said, it would be nice NOT to send them viruses lol, but a firewall on the mac would, imho, be better than a virus scanner if they are concerned that the mac is a security risk.
