Just pull all the extra RAM and just have the stock RAM installed,
install Jag, and when it is installed let it restart, than shutdown, put
it an extra RAM module, push the CUDA button, boot and see if it still
works. Than one by one put the module back and push the CUDA every time.
It should work fine, just the installer doesn't like third-party RAM
unless you have installed buffered PC-RAM, a Mac doesn't really like that.

FYI: I have a B&W G3 350 Rev1 w/ 704 MB RAM, a 64MB (stock) and 128MB
module bought from Apple at the time I bought this B&W new, an Apple
branded OWC 256 DIMM and another 256 Apple branded DIMM and they all
work fine with Jag. I only had the 128+64 DIMM plus the OWC 256
installed when I installed Jag and the install went fine.

Damn I remember something now: A few weeks after installing Jag I
installed that last 256 DIMM and Jag and OS 9.2.2 worked fine, but last
week I tried booting from the Jag CD after I installed a Sony CDRW from
a G4 CDRW to replace my Lite-On CDRW and it crashed (I posted a message
about that last week), it crashed either with garbled text or the
message restart the computer, so I put my first CDRW back and booting
from the Jag CD crashed aswell so I couldn't figure out what was wrong,
but I forgot I had added that extra 256 DIMM later on, so that is
probably why it crashed!!!
Probably this module is PC133. I had a similar prob when I bought that
OWC 256 DIMM PC133, OS 9 crashed while booting. So I put this DIMM in
the first slot and the 64 and 128 MB PC100's in slot 2 and 3. I guess I
have to put this module in slot 1 or 2.

About the DVD decoder, it should be fine because I am stil using that
card. And a 40 gig Maxtor. And even a Voodoo 5 flashed to Voodoo 4 to
run a second monitor, not at the moment, but I have used this card even
as the primary monitor in 10.2.2.

HTH,
Marc
