I am now using Toast Titanium 5.2 for OSX. Under that one I burn bootables all the time. The save as disk image then burning the image works every time for me if the original is bootable. I burn disks of site lic software here all the time. I have burned Techtool Pro this way recently as well as Drive 10. The disk image deal should be making a perfect copy of your disk and burning it with all attributes.
