I understand your concerns with eBay. Most of the people I have dealt with, however,
have been most helpful. I have purchased a 7300/200, a PowerComputing 604/132
PowerWave, a G3/300, numerous upgrades including my xlr8 MACHSpeed G3/300 card and a
couple of monitors and have not had a problem and generally I have gotten good prices.
Many of the sellers belong to this list or to other lists at Lowendmac, like PCI
Macs. However, if your time is your enemy, then your options become limited.

WOW! Thanks for all the quick replies. If it helps, I live in Victoria BC.
Over here, choices are very limited, and the dealers know that. There is a
30 day warranty on it too. I'm getting this from Restart Computer. I bought
my Powerbook there too. Really nice guys.

My budget is CAD$800.00 before tax. If anyone can point me in the direction
of a better machine, I would be ever so grateful. My time is limited. I need
something by the end of next week latest.

I'm rather scared of Ebay...
