Tried running 9.2 today for the first time after installing Jaguar on my G3/300 minitower. Changed the startup disk in System Preferences in X, and restarted the system. It wouldn't boot the first time, so I restarted and zapped the pram. Then, it started right up and ran, no problems. So, curiosity satisfied, I changed the startup disk in the 9.2 control panel, and restarted. It came up in verbose mode, and went no further. So, after checking at the Apple web site knowledge base, I restarted from the 9.2.1 disk I got with Jaguar, and copied the new startup disk control panel in the system folder. Chose the Jaguar system folder as startup disk, and rebooted. Back up in verbose mode, not sure what to do there. Restarted once again, and back up in 9.2. What do I have to do here to get back into X?
I eventually re-installed Jaguar, and haven't tried this again since. With 10.2 and 9.2.2 on separate partitions on the same drive, how does one boot from either os?
