Relying of course in the only tool I have (and before reading your message) I
ran Norton without restarting, it just told me that I needed to close all
programs. It saw two relatively small files on two of the folders which have
damaged resource fork. both of them are like 1.5 MB. HOWEVER! There is a
file that Norton OVERLOOKED which is THE ONE that's 249MB. So according to
cute little Norton the file is OK. I left the computer ON but forgot the
Energy Saver control panel was set up to shutdown the computer if unatended
for a while. I had set up the computer before leaving it to startup with the
other drive, so as I started up the computer it went to the other drive I was
terrified the 9GB would disappear but it didn't and everything seems to be OK.

I booted with it now and everything is OK so far. So I am pretty calm now,
other than emptying the trash I guess I can't go wrong, oh BTW a lot of
important things are already on the 2GB drive so I'll see if I can take the
risk. BTW is there a DIsk Warrior free version like with TechTool Lite?

Will Tech Tool Lite help? I think I may have it in an old Mac Home or Mac
Addict CD.
Thanks for your ideas, I'll backup in Zips as well...
