There is also an older model (2001) Made by Pixela by the above desc.
pix-mpgcp/u1. Its a tricky little thing to find (made and marketed only in
Japan) it is USB and comes with software/drivers/etc for G3-G4 / OS9-OSX.
Its as easy as iMovie is to use, though it has to be exported to add any
type of effects to the movie. It is strictly an editor/converter and
produces wonderful quality (inputs as Mpeg1 or Mpeg2) ..exports as pretty
much whatever you want.
I picked one up off a popular auction site for around 10% of its retail
($299us) list. As I understand it, I have one of the very few English
translated manuals... so if anyone else has happened across one of these and
needs a manual for it, email me off list.

Ralph
DP500 / OS9.2
soon to be DP533/133 -> 600/133

ps: I am bringing in video from a High8 to play in a Flash5 presentation
(placed onto a cd-buisness card)... I need to add fades and other effects...
is there a better(quality) way than from tape-> (mpeg1->DV)-> imovie->
(Qtime->image sequences)-> flash5 ?
