Hello, thank you everyone for all of your help and support, everything seems to be back in order now. I borrowed Disk Warrior from my friend as in "emergency" basis and was able to run it. I fixed the directory which seemed to be trashed practically I looked for the list that Disk Warrior gives me and it repaired a bunch of things. I restarted, and at this point emptied the trash, tried IE & AOL everything was OK, downloaded games again everything okiedoke, ran the games, then opened cheat II problem began, application unexpectedly quit with error type 3, I gave a restart and the computer crashed (it just froze, the mouse stopped working them pressing the power button wouldn't do anything) then I did the three finger salute. At this point I knew that some of the problems were still there. I wanted to see if the error would come back on me, again cheat II (no other apps running) quited with error type 1, then computer froze then a force quit (to cheat II that was still running) that gave error type 10. Kinda functional at the moment I restarted, and the lockup came up again. Three finger salute again. Upon restart I realized I forgot to trash finder/apple menu options prefs (I trashed others on the way including appearance, etc.) I did then another restart. Then now everything is working great, Cheat II does not crash, AOL & IE look happy enough (for them). Computer's working great I can sence it! Oh BTW before all this she was SO SLOW! Now she isn't. Again thanks, I couldn't have done it without you guys, and thank you so much for the explanation on how to erase IE & AOL prefs files, I don't care much about history but sometimes it comes in handy specially when you forget to bookmark some websites (I do a lot).
