I'm using it right now to edit a slide show of my friend's wedding. I'm using the Ken Burn's effects on several of the pictures. I find the rendering of the effects and transitions faster on this version BUT starting the program seems to take longer. Playback using the Ken Burn's effects are a bit choppy and the soundtrack sometimes cuts out in some spots -- this seems to happen the more I play back the show.
I am using a B&W G3/300 revA with 768MB of RAM, Acard ATA-100+ PCI card, a 40 and a 30 GB 7200RPM hd, Radeon 7000, AGFA SnapScan 1212U, and Jaguar. > Has anyone else tried iMovie 3, now available for free download from Apple? > > I love the features but I find it klunky to operate.
