I am looking at a possible processor upgrade. First off I have:
B & W G3 300Mhz
Rev.1
640 Mb RAM
Maxtor 60 Gig 7200 RPM HD
ATI Rage 128 16 meg VRAM
Que! Drive external USB CDRW 4x2x8
The processor is a 400 Mhz G4 ZIF. I know I have the compatible fit, but the
guy selling it has said that he has 1/3 of them for B & W models returned
for problems. Any clues as to what those problems are and what, if any,
workarounds are there. Here is the link:
