Don't get me wrong it is a good ZIF and will offer significant power over
your 333MHz but you can also buy a Sonnet Crescendo/PCI G3/500MHz 512k
3:1(167MHz) Backside Cache - For PCI based Macs. with a 3yr Sonnet Warranty.
(STIPPCG3500512) for $145.00!

I'm very pleased with my OWC G3/533, at $159, and I would like to have
another, but I absolutely, positively refuse to spend fifty-bucks more for
the very same item from an opportunistic e-bone seller.

Now, if that seller had a $0.01 minimum, and then let the "market" determine
the perceived value of these ZIFs, I might consider them.

But, with a minimum which is precisely $50 higher than OWC's former retail
price ... no way in hell.

The Sonnet seems to be a good alternative, considering the present market
realities.
