I looked at the OWC clearance sale on the G3 533MHz last year and had a major case buyer's remorse! They put out a very good ZIF and I'm thinking seriously about one of their G4's...I'll have to be more diligent on stalking their clearance and E-mail list sales this year. The eBayer with the G3 533MHz ZIFs has been running that listing for the past three or four weeks!!! At the "starting price" of US$209.99 he will not sell off the load of ZIFs he got from OWC any time soon as long as there are wise Mac owners like you and Dan A. Currie, Jr at [EMAIL PROTECTED] asking the right questions and sharing solid information in settings like this one. So I suppose the "buyer beware" saying is as true today as it ever was!!!
