You may need to go through a non-intuitive process: first, seek out and
trash ALL xlr8, powerlogix and any other cache-enabling stuff; then,
re-install the xlr8 stuff; then, UN-install the xlr8 stuff using the
uninstall option...and finally, re-install xlr8.

I recently had to do this. According to Gary at Daystar, xlr8 software has
some bits and pieces that are not removed or modified by any other method.

If you can get online, find Daystar (I think it's daystartechnologies.com,
or maybe just daystartech.com), and from there read their support info
and/or contact Gary.
