You may need to go through a non-intuitive process: first, seek out and trash ALL xlr8, powerlogix and any other cache-enabling stuff; then, re-install the xlr8 stuff; then, UN-install the xlr8 stuff using the uninstall option...and finally, re-install xlr8.
I recently had to do this. According to Gary at Daystar, xlr8 software has some bits and pieces that are not removed or modified by any other method.
