If the system is new to you you should wipe it and start over. That's my policy. That being said, you should boot with extensions off and toss your finder preferences in the trash. They are in the preferences folder in your system folder. That error type -10 is frequently caused by faulty finder prefs. -- ============================================================== Kyle H.
